Food Photographer, Michael W. Rutherford

Rutherford Studios is located in Nashville, Tennessee near the airport. Our studio is approximately 8,000 sf with two large shooting bays and a complete commercial kitchen. We also have a large patio with a pond and two waterfalls which makes it a very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere for a creative mind. Our studio also has many thousands of props and backgrounds for rental in your food shoots.

We are also able to shoot on location worldwide or in the studio whichever will work best for your project. We have three full time photographers on staff and one full time digital technician.

Michael W. Rutherford is our photographer specializing in food and location photography projects with people. He has traveled worldwide shooting several books and projects for different agencies across the world. He has won several national and international awards for his work as well.

Iwan Tanumijaya is our photographer specializing in product in the studio or location. He has shot many ads and catalogs for boot and shoe companies. He has worked for large corporations directly or many agencies and designers across the nation. Some of his other product shoots were for electronics and building materials.

Chad Rutherford is our photographer specializing in cars and automobile parts and accessories whether on location or in our other studio with the 40 foot Detroit car light. He also can handle any other location project with people or lifestyle.

Jim Lockhart is our full time digital technician that specializes in color correcting and any retouching that is necessary for your projects. He is educated in camera’s as well as photoshop.
